Meet The Founder
I’m Chi, and my story has always been shaped by creativity. I grew up drawing on anything I could get my hands on, and that love eventually took me into fashion design. I spent years in fast fashion, working nonstop and barely seeing my family. It didn’t feel like the life I wanted, and it definitely didn’t feel like the kind of creativity that made me come alive.
So I stepped away from the “expected” path and built my own. I went back to study, gaining a Masters in Design, raised my growing family, and kept exploring how creativity could help young people feel proud of who they are. Along the way, I realised something powerful: when you bring children together and give them tools to express themselves, you’re not just teaching them art, you’re helping them build identity, confidence, and creating a sense of belonging. That belief led me to create THE REP STATION, a space where identity can be shown unapologetically.
Everything I do is rooted in three things I’ve always cared about: CULTURE, IDENTITY AND BELONGING. I don’t pretend to have the whole journey mapped out, but I know this: I’m here to make learning joyful, creative, and meaningful. I’m here to help young people see themselves clearly. And I’m here to build a community where every child feels represented.
I have 20+ years in the art and design industry, and I’m still learning (I’m currently on the way to becoming a qualified teacher!), still creating, and still figuring out the balance, but I’m doing it with my five brilliant kids by my side, and with a smile, because this work feels right.
So here I am with my figurative cheerleader pom poms! On a mission to turn curious minds into confident doers, with a creative approach that makes every topic feel like an adventure.
